On Sunday March 29, 2020 Beverly J. (Roberts) Bowman danced through Heaven's gate to be reunited with her loving husband, the love of her life, and meet her Savior face to face.

She was born in Martins Ferry Ohio to Lee and Martha (Serena) Roberts. She was a graduate of Martins Ferry HS and worked as an administrative secretary for Superior Auto Parts in Wheeling.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Her spouse Jay Bowman Sr. A brother Lee Roberts and sister Georgeanne (Roberts) Bennington. And a grandson Andrew Bowman.

She is survived by one sister, Peggy (Stopera) Penick of New Milford CT; her children, Jay (Barbara) Bowman of Barnesville, Doug (Donna) Bowman of Adena and Beth Currence of Morgantown WV; her grandchildren Kelsey and Lindsey Bowman, Zac (Emily) Currence, D.J. Currence, Elizabeth and Kristen Bowman, one great grandson, Jamison Bowman-Liegbott; many nephews and one niece that all share special memories of time together.

She had been a lifelong, active member of St. Paul Church. Her many friends will miss her love of sharing stories about her kids and grandkids.

Due to limitations of the COVID-19 restrictions there will be a small service limited to family and a few close friends at Holly Memorial Gardens on Friday April 3rd at 1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.

A memorial gathering for all will be held at a later date.

The family requests no flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport or Meals On Wheels.
