Betty Sowinski, 82, 64635 Bull Run Road, St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glendale, WV. She was born on November 17, 1924 in Avondale, Ohio, a daughter of Peter A. and Martha J. Willison Schramm.

She was a retired employee of the Bellaire Eagles Aerie 371. She was a member of the Jacobsburg Methodist Church. She was also a past President and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary as well as a member of the DAV Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sowinski; former husband Fred Graham; two sons, Frederick and John Graham; two sisters, Gail Newell, and Katherine Gorrell and two brothers Thomas and John Schramm.

Surviving are three sisters, Bernadine Salva, Patricia Bowman and Martha Peters; one brother, Kenneth Schramm: two daughters, Barbara (& Glen) Bailey of Jacobsburg and Marlene Graham of Tucson, AZ; three sons, Joseph (& Marie) Peter A. and William (& Barbara) Graham all of Jacobsburg; a step daughter, Connie (& Jim) Ernster of Louisville, KY, two stepsons John (& Kay) and Rick Sowinski of St. Clairsville; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Mehl officiating. Burial will follow at Jacobsburg Cemetery.
