Betty Jean Orr, 91, 0f Bannock, Ohio died January 1, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born September 20, 1929 in Clinton, Indiana, daughter of the late Pearl Neal Loy and Jessie Gertrude Sanders Loy.

Betty was a retired cook from Bell Nursing Home and formerly Harris Nursing Home in Flushing. She was a member of Bannock United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking nut rolls and quilting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clem B. Orr; a son, Jeffrey Neal Orr; a daughter-in-law, Jill Orr; four sisters, Rosemary, Grace, Lola, and Jerri; and a brother, Clyde James.

Surviving are her son, Hubert "Bud" Orr; a daughter, Rita (James) Gibbons; a sister, Joan Vernet; four grandchildren, Eric Charles Orr, Scott Lee (Lori) Parsons, Josh Lee (Tricia) Parsons, and Jennifer Marie Orr; four great grandchildren, Katelyn E. Orr, Sabrina Lynn Foraker, Jackson Lee Parsons and Jett Lee Parsons; nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
