Betty June Meager, 78, of Glencoe, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at her home. She was born August 29, 1928 in Quincy, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Evelyn Radcliff McGarry.

Betty was a retired employee from the Holiday Inn in St. Clairsville and Tracy?s Restaurant in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the Bellaire Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, William McGarry; and two sisters, Bertie Lou Colvin and Marlene Jeffers.

Surviving are her husband, William "Bill" Meager; a daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Pierce of Belmont; two granddaughters, Sherri (Rusty) Myers of Bellaire and Karen (Rick) Mihalic of St. Clairsville; three great grandchildren, Ashley, Sailor and Braedyn; three brothers, Ted McGarry of Stewartsville, Jack McGarry of Glencoe and Vick McGarry of Woodsfield; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gerald Blon officiating. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery.
