Betty Jean McMillen, 85, of Iona Drive, St. Clairsville formerly of Zanesville died Monday, November 29, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.

She was born November 21, 1919 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Bainter Wheeler.

Betty was a former employee of Azallion's clothing store in St. Clairsville and Stone & Thomas at the Ohio Valley Mall. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville and the Bridgeport Chapter No. 452 Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred B. McMillen in 1987; a brother, Robert Wheeler and a sister, Mary Virginia Agin.

Surviving are three daughters, Melenie Dinan (Terry) of Cincinnati, Barbara Jean Barbe (Bill) of St. Clairsville, and Judith Maxson of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating, followed by an interment service at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Zanesville Memorial Gardens.

Eastern Star services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
