MARINELLI, Betty Lee, 80, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, Ohio.

She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio on November 24, 1931.

Betty was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Ora McCabe Diyelsi; her birth parents, Norman and Mary Doty; four sisters, Sylvia English, Grace Pedeleose, Norma Smith and Cindy Doty; a brother, Robert Doty; and her former husband, James Marinelli.

Surviving are her children, Jamie (Steven) Fabry of Bellaire, Nick Marinelli of Bellaire, Mary Jo (Jim Kinnison) Driscoll of Bellaire, Rosalie (Ed) Protiva of Bellaire and James Marinelli of Benwood, West Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grand children; five brothers, Richard, Glenn, Gary, Harold and Norman Doty; five sisters, Shirley Suttles, Brenda Gilmore, Joyce Aldred, Karen Dennison and Patty Thomsen; several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 p.m. until time of memorial service at 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio with Rev. Dave Smith officiating and private interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shadyside Care Center.
