Betty Ann Knight, 77, of St. Clairsville, OH., formerly of Piedmont, OH passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.  She was born March 28, 1947 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late Virgil E. and Mary Katherine Pelkey Burghy.

Betty was a retired custodian of the St. Clairsville-Richland School District and a Methodist by faith.  She enjoyed cooking for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex husband, Thomas J. Knight; a daughter, Mary Jurco; a son, Thoman E. Knight; a great grandson, Brice Jurco; a sister. Mary Jean Thornton; a brother-in-law, George Knight.

Surviving are a son, Joseph Michael Knight of Glencoe, OH; grandchildren, T.J. Knight, Kelsey Knight, Justin Jurco, Joseph Michael Knight and Jonathan Knight; three great grandchildren, Mckinlee, Kennedy and Hayden; a sister, Sarah Louise Richards of St. Clairsville.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 pm until time of funeral services at 6 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
