Betty Lee Diab, 92, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born April 17, 1931, in Sardis, Ohio, a daughter of the late Oscar E. Niemann and Viola Morton Niemann.

Betty was a retired assistant superintendent of Belmont County Children's Home. She was a St. Clairsville High School graduate and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William Diab, a son, William L. Diab, and a brother, Oscar "Skippy" Niemann.

She is Survived by her daughter-in-law, Norma J. Diab.

At Betty's request, there will be no public service. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
