Betty Jane "Goose" Bain, 96, of Maynard, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born March 17, 1929, in West Wheeling, Ohio, a daughter of the late Beulah Estella Donley.

She was a member of the Maynard United Methodist Church and the Maynard Sportsman's Club.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, James David Bain; two brothers, George and Walter Kinsey; and two sisters in law, Carolyn Kinsey and Kelly Windsheimer.

She is survived by her cherished nieces, Janelle and Jacque Windsheimer; her brother, William Windsheimer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family would like to thank The Maynard Sportsman's Club for their continuous care and support of Betty.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville from 12-3 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maynard Sportsman's Club to dedicate a memorial bench in memory of Goose.
