Betty L. Armann, 83, of Powhatan Point, Ohio died April 28, 2017 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville. She was born November 7, 1933 in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio a daughter of the late William and Wilma Gast Scott. Betty was former co-owner and operator of Betty and Shirley's Flower Nook and a Methodist by faith. She was a hard worker, especially in her yard which she took great pride in. She loved painting and planting flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Barbara and Susan Armann; a sister and two brothers. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Rowland Armann; two daughters, Patsy (Don) Meadows and Kathy Burch; three sons, Mike (Lori) Armann, James (Helen) Armann and George (Marie) Armann all of Powhatan Point. Betty was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
