McKelvey, Bette Anne, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Monday Aug. 30, 2010 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
She was born February 15, 1930 in Maynard, Ohio, daughter of the late W. Everett and Edythe A. Coates McFarland.
Bette Anne was a retired employee from Citizens National Bank. She was a Methodist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband, John Kelly "Jake" McKelvey; a son, Patrick McKelvey; a sister, Jayne Downs of Bartlett, Tennessee; a half sister, Lori Horvath of Shadyside; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating.
