Bert L. Daley, Jr., 72 of Rehm Rd., St. Clairsville, Ohio went to be with his heavenly family on Tuesday, October 10, 2006.

Bert was a retired heavy equipment operator for Marietta Coal Co., and a member of the Bannock Methodist Church.

He was preceded home by his parents, Bert and Gladys McConnell Daley and a sister, Lucy Yeager.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Hughes Daley with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by daughters, Gina and her husband Donald Marinucci of Flushing, Shelly Wiggins of St. Clairsville, Holly and her husband Larry Janiszewski of Lansing, Marcy Taylor and Doug Ryan of Raleigh, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Toni and Dave Heightland of Athens, Ohio, Erin and Sloan Scott of Flushing, Dr. Dustin Marinucci of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Bryan Mularcik of Elm Grove, West Virginia, T.J. Mularcik of Troy, Ohio and Cassie Wiggins of St. Clairsville; two great grandchildren, Sierra Scott and Jacob Heightland; a brother, Bill and his wife Sue Daley of St. Clairsville; a brother-in-law, Alfred Yeager of St. Clairsville; along with a very loving and close extended family of brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Kelley officiating. Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.
