Bernice L. Jesalosky, age 87, of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling.
She was born November 7, 1919 in Maynard, daughter of the late Clyde and Grace Weir Huntsman.
Bernice was a retired secretary from Belco Crafts and School of Hope in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville; she was a member of the former St. Clairsville Chapter # 510 Order of Eastern Star and current member of Bridgeport Chapter #452 Order of Eastern Star; a member of Wardah Husam Temple # 59 Daughters of the Nile in Wheeling; and a member of the Chapter EB, P.E.O. of St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Jesalosky; and two sons, Joe and Larry Jesalosky.
Surviving are her three grandchildren, Jason Jesalosky of St. Clairsville, Joel "J.B." Jesalosky of Round Rock, Texas and Ann Shields of Florida; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Dean of Flushing and Gladys Lewis of Warrenton, Virginia; and a brother, Kenneth Huntsman of Lloydsville.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be visitation on Friday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Barry Hall Officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
