Ault, Bernice L. 95 of Cortland, Ohio formerly of Stewartsville, Ohio died Friday, February 5, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Cortland.

She was born May 29, 1914 in Stewartsville, Ohio a daughter of the late Harvey and Jenny Byers Helms.

Bernice was a homemaker, a Methodist by faith and loved playing the piano, playing bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Ault; daughters, Sheila E. (Clarence) Massa and Myra J. (Kenneth) Sole; brothers, Carl, Ray, Walter, Henry and Martie Helms and sisters, Bertha Neitzelt and Gertrude Imhoff.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret A. Klem of Cortland, Ohio with whom she resided; grandsons, William (Mary) Massa of Delphos, Ohio and their children Nick, Tony and Jessica; Jeffery (Terri) Klem of Cortland, Ohio and their children Michael and Brandon; granddaughter, Kathy (Chad) McLeish of Bridgeport, Ohio; 24 nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Blon officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
