Bernard L. McMahon, Sr. 88, of St. Clairsville, OH died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born October 26, 1932 in Glencoe, OH a son of the late Harold and Florence A. Arman McMahon.
Bernard was retired from Ormet Corporation, a Methodist by faith and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of American Legion Post 159, St. Clairsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Louise Saunders McMahon in 1990; three sisters, Delores Pruit, Esther R. Vannest, Charlotte R. Kurucz; a brother, Richard McMahon.
Surviving are his wife, Leota Shook Dawson-McMahon of St. Clairsville; four sons, Bernard L. McMahon, Jr. of Neffs, OH., Mark R. (Sylvia) McMahon of Mooresville, NC, Joseph (Juliane) McMahon of Zion, IL, James D. (Veronica) McMahon of Houston, TX; a daughter, Susie J. Toliver of Martins Ferry, OH; six grandchildren, Lyndsay McMahon, Sean McMahon, Jessica Sheedy, Joseph McMahon, Mackenzie Tolliver, JoNesha Tolliver; five great-grandchildren.
As per his request, no visitation or services are planned.
