Hudson, Bernard "Dale", 82 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

He was born at Hundred, WV on December 29, 1926 a son of the late Harry and Margaret Anderson Hudson.

Dale was a retired foreman from East Ohio Gas Co., attended Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville and was an army veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Janet Bonar; a great grandson, Deacon Beisel and brothers Mitchell, Norman and Charles Hudson.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Hughes Hudson; his children, Kenneth Hudson of Powell, OH; Diana (David) Bonar of Hannibal, OH and Steven (Tammy) Hudson of Clemmons, NC; sisters, Merle Brown of Arizona and Louise (John) Tait of Mansfield, OH; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, OH on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. to time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Herman Cemetery, Hundred, WV at 2:30 p.m.
