KUPRONIS, Betty Jean, 81, of Blaine, Passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at her daughter?s home in Bolivar, Ohio. Born September 25, 1928 in Crabapple, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Leota Gibson. Betty attended St. Clairsville High School. She married Benny Kupronis on February 1, 1947. They were together 50 years until Benny?s death on March 14, 1997.
Betty worked 18 years at Clevite Corp. in Lansing, Ohio. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church in Blaine, Ohio. Betty enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, crocheting and loved her flower gardens. She loved spending time with her family and missed her husband dearly.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Sharon (husband Auvil) Parsons of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Rosemarie (husband Bob) Shingle of Bolivar, Ohio. One brother, Bill Gibson of Pipersville, Pennsylvania, three sisters, Lillian Kupronis of Itasca, Illinois, Dorothy Grieswell of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Mary Deacon of Algonquin, Illinois.
Grandchildren include, A.P. and Shayna Parsons of St. Clairsville, Stacy Shingle-Sinicropi (husband Jason) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Rob Shingle (Wife Laura) of Saline, Michigan; Great grandchildren include, Taylor Alexis, Ashley Marie, and Benjamin Jason Sinicropi, Meghanrose, Emelia Margaret and Anna Josephine Shingle.
In addition to her parents and her husband Benny, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbur and George Gibson and sister, Lois Rosenwinkle.
A Private Service officiated by Rev. John A. Brown was held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Betty was laid to rest by her beloved husband in Holly Memorial Gardens.
