Obituary
Ben Carpico, 84 of Lafferty Rd., Belmont, Ohio died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born May 4, 1932 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a son of the late Lawrence Carpico and Elisabeth Difolico Carpico.
Ben was a retired self employed salesman and a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Pleasant Grove.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Gig and Ernie Carpico.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Hayes Carpico; three children, Linda (Roger) Wright of Ocala, FL, Patricia (Pete) Welch of Palm Springs, CA, and Bennie (Betsy) Carpico, Jr. of Wheeling; two stepchildren, Lenny Crawford of Wellsburg, WV, and Joy Lynn (Bob) Poch of Lansing; a brother, Baci Carpico of Smithfield, OH; ten grandchildren, Tracy Massimi, Anthony Saif, James Saif, Matt Wright, Josh Wright, Brian Carpico, Becky Jo Carpico, Alex Carpico, Matthew Crawford, Ali Crawford; a special nephew, Dan (Tink) Carpico of Columbus, OH.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 73339 Pleasant Grove Rd., St. Clairsville, Ohio from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Nelson officiating.
Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
