Obituary
Beatrice Scott Howell Passmore, 82 of Sand Hill Rd., Bellaire died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at her home.
She was born May 20, 1924 in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Sewell "Bud" and Ellen Scott.
She was a member of Belmont U.P. Church, Gold Star Wives of America, American Legion Auxiliary, and AARP.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert S. Howell who was killed in service during World War II; two sisters, Geneva Jones and Norma Brown.
Surviving are two sons, Robert S.M. Howell and his wife Janet of Bellaire, and William J. Passmore and his wife Betty of Stewartsville; three grandchildren, Sherry (Brian) Blon, Billie (John E.) Blacker, and Robert Passmore; five great grandchildren, Kayla and John Blacker, Amy and Kelly Blon, and Austin Passmore; a sister, Peggy (les) Hurd; a brother, Gerald "Jerry" (Dee) Scott.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 9:00 a.m. Saturday in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville with Pastor Pete Walburn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 1810 MacKenzie Dr., Suite 120, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville is in charge of arrangements.
