Barbara Jean Taddia (nee Runnels), 75, of St. Clairsville, passed on November 4, 2006 after a brief battle with Cancer. She was born in Newark, Ohio, on June 5, 1931.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Charles and Alma Kegg Runnels; and her sister, Eleanor Mossbarger.

She is Survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Taddia; a daughter, Deborah (Michael) Schaafsma; a son, Dennis Taddia; grandchildren, William J. Kuthy Jr., Kristi (Ryan) Polone of Boyd, Texas and Angela Taddia of Havre de Grace, Maryland, step-grandchildren, Michael and Keith Schaafsma of Branson, Missouri; 3 great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.

Barbara was a charter member of the Carnation Twig of OVMC. She was an avid angel collector and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary?s Church in St. Clairsville on Wednesday at 10 a.m., with Father Christopher Foxhoven the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
