Barbara Ann Magnone, 84, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 21, 2019 at her son's home.

She was born February 14, 1935 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late George C. Steger and Minnie L. Gable Steger.

Barbara was a retired secretary for the mayor of the city of Martins Ferry and former telephone operator. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed music.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Magnone; and her brother, George "Sonny" Steger.

Surviving are her two children, Mark Anthony (Leslie) Magnone and Lynnette (Bob) Cupp both of St. Clairsville and three grandchildren, Marissa Cupp, Steven Cupp and Mark Anthony Magnone, Jr.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 22 ^nd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
