Barbara Ann Rieck Kurth, 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 10, 2016 in Park Health Center.

She was born March 15, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Virgil Rieck and Adeline Roberts Rieck.

Barbara was a retired school teacher from Martins Ferry and Powhatan Point Schools. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cake decorating, ceramics and she was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Lee Kurth; three sons, Kelly (Becky) Kurth of Frankfort, Indiana, Scott (Valerie) Kurth of Bowling Green, Ohio and Rob (Jana) Kurth of Bowie, Maryland; eight grandchildren, Carrie, Liam and Damon Kurth, Lizzie and Zach Kurth, Geneva, Noah and Rosalina Kurth; a sister, Judy Rieck (Mike) Lamp of Lizzella, Georgia.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where visitation will also be held on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
