CHRISTY, Audrey L., 83, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 20, 2010 at the Sistersville Center.
She was born April 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Charles William Foster and Lucy Ogilbee Foster.
She was a homemaker and an Avon Representative. Audrey also attended the Oxford Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Christy; brother, Charles Foster; sisters, Margaret Yost and Hazel Kemp and granddaughter, Angela Marie Pyles.
She is survived by sons, Jimmie (Pat) Christy of East Palestine, OH and Robert (Connie) Christy of Galivant's Ferry, SC; daughters, Linda (Richard) Pyles of Clarington, OH and Susanna (Ron) Pierce of Sistersville; sisters, Mary Jean Ramsey of Bellaire, OH and Helen Stonebreaker of Jacobsburg, OH and sister-in-law, Chloe Foster of Centerville, OH; and ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 am at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
