Arthur A. Sim, 77 of Lee Rd. , St. Clairsville , Ohio died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at his home.

He was born June 4, 1929 in Montreal , Canada , a son of the late Avard Gates Sim and Evelyn Wilkins Sim.

Art was a retired Industrial Estimator for Hartman and Hartman of Washington, PA and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Logsdon and a nephew, John Logsdon.

Surviving are his wife Sharon "Shari" Sim; children, Michael Sim of New Orleans, LA., Patrick Sim of Raleigh, NC., Thomas Sim of Victorville, CA., Anne Wiebel of New Cumberland, PA., Stephanie Farley of Fort Pierce, FL.; step children, Robert Meier, Dwayne Meier, and Krystal Hill all of Columbus, IN.; brothers, Robert and Chester Sim of Hummelstown, PA.; sister, Mary Cleveland of Calabash, NC.; 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 16 nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth N. Schott officiating.
