Arthur E. Brown, 80, of Jacobsburg, OH., passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born July 13, 1941, in Armstrongs Mills, OH., a son of the late Ross A. and Nora E. Palmer Brown.

Arthur was retired from Consol Coal Company #4 mine in Clarington, Ohio and a Christian by faith.  He enjoyed fishing and gold panning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his children, Tammy Kay Bishop of Blacklick, PA., Bobbie Jo Scott of Bridgeport, OH., Bonnie Jeanette Stonebreaker of Shadyside, OH., Timothy W. Brown of Bridgeport and Johnny Eugene Brown of Columbus, OH; other survivors, Alice Rose Brown and Gerald Lynn Brown both of Jacobsburg; sisters, Virginia Pastva of Bethesda, OH and Betty Hogeson of Centerville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg with Pastor Wayne Clark officiating.  Burial will follow Armstrong Cemetery.
