Arnetta C. Jordan, 78 of Broad Street, St. Clairsville went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville.

She was born at Wheeling on June 8, 1927 a daughter of the late Vewles and Pauline Reed Johnson.

Arnetta was a retired cook from the Belmont Habilitation Center and a member of the First Baptist Church at St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Jordan, Sr. and an uncle Phillip Reed.

She is survived by her sons Charles Jordan, Jr. of Aurora, Colorado; Wayne (Linda) Jordan and David (Kim) Jordan all of St. Clairsville; Kevin Jordan of Delaware, Ohio and Nathan (Carolyn) Jordan of Wheeling; grandchildren Heather (Andra) Jones of Arlington, Texas; Heath Jordan and Alicia (Marc) Freeman all of St. Clairsville; Charles Jordan of Owings Mills, Maryland; Joshua Jordan of Denver, Colorado; Brooke Jordan of Brentwood, Pennsylvania; Brett Jordan of St. Clairsville; Brandy Jordan and Chad Jordan both of Delaware, Ohio and Aaron Jordan of Wheeling; 5 great grandchildren and a cousin Dorothy Jackson of Dayton.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Carl Denson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
