Arleen Van Fossen, 68, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died February 18, 2020 at her home.

She was born July 17, 1951 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, daughter of the late Oma and Lucille Carpenter Summers.

Arleen was a retired nurse's aide from the State of Ohio.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed travelling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda and Beverly, and three brothers, Roger, Bud and Oma "Buster".

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Richard A. Van Fossen; a son, Richard D. (Joanie) Blackwell; four sisters, Aileen, Kathy, Glenna and Brenda; two brothers, Mike and Rick; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Van Fossen officiating.  Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.
