Johnson, Arla Delores Mellott, 84 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio.
She was born February 13, 1927 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Harry Lee Mellott and Margaret Elizabeth Devaul Mellott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Johnson; a son, Robert E. Johnson, Jr.; a grandson, Steven Summers; brothers, Harry Lee Mellott, Jr. and Glenn Mellott; a sister, Gail Schliebner.
Surviving are three children, Donna (John) Noling of St. Clairsville, Karen Summers of St. Clairsville, and Harvey (Teresa) Johnson of Hyattsville, MD; 7 grandchildren, Brad, Ryan, and Sarah Noling, Sean and Megan Johnson, Andy and Amy Summers; 1 great granddaughter, Nikki Jackson.
An inurnment ceremony will be held for Arla and Robert at Arlington National Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
