HORNIK, Annabel A. Klayko, 93 of Lansing, Ohio died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at OVMC in Wheeling.

She was born on December 23, 1917 at Bannock, Ohio a daughter of the late John and Anna Karkula Klayko. Annabel was a homemaker and a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hornik; her daughter Brenda J. Ferrell and brothers John, Henry and Fred Klayko.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Shannan Lynn (Augustine) Valentino of Lansing and Bradley Thomas (Stephanie) Ferrell of Columbus, OH; great grandson, Zachary A. Kalo; great great granddaughter, Delyla Mae Kalo; her son-in-law, Thomas Ferrell of Bridgeport; a brother, Lewis Klayko of Blaine, KY and a sister, Charlotte Kidd of Zanesville, OH.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Tennant officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
