Anna Rose Skvarka Pempek, 87 of Fairpoint, Ohio died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at her home. She was born at Benwood, WV on October 3, 1915 a daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline Skravka.

Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Fairpoint.

She was the loving wife of Stanley Jack "Pistol" Pempek who preceded her in death in 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Andrew and Pete Skvarka.

She is survived by her loving son, Stanley Pempek and his wife Leigh who was her faithful care giver during her illness; grandson Joshua and his wife Katrina; her loving granddaughter Jessica; great granddaughter Karis Ann; brothers, Philip and William Skvarka; sisters Helen Stack, Elizabeth Mroski and Pauline Mroski.

Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St.Clairsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fairpoint with Father Dennis Lyden as celebrant. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
