Funkhouser, Anna R., 96, of Belmont, Ohio died May 22, 2008 at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville.
She was born May 27, 1911 at Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Ben Brown and Myrtle Cook Brown.
She was a member of Belmont Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a her husband, Frank Funkhouser; 3 brothers, Walter of Krocer, Washington, George of Belmont and Harley of Belpri; a son-in-law, Kenny Neiswanger of Cambridge and a grandson, Charles Neiswanger of Perrysburg, Ohio.
Surviving are a sister, Nettie Klee of St. Clairsville; a daughter, Clara Neiswanger of Cambridge; 3 sons, George Funkhouser and his wife Erica of Columbus, Ohio, Carl Funkhouser Sr. and his wife Ingrid and Carl Funkhouser Jr. and his wife Cindy all of Belmont; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where visitation will again be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., with Everett Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Centerville, Ohio. A dinner will follow at the Centerville Senior Center.
