Anna Mae Burgy, 86, formerly of Barton and St. Clairsville, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at Carriage Inn of Cadiz Alzheimer?s Care Center. She was born September 15, 1923 in Barton, a daughter of the late Adolph W. Marx and Annie Blankowies Marx.

A dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin James Burgy in 1984; her parents; her siblings, Adolph, Louise, Matilda, Adolph William, Elizabeth, John, Annie, John, Hilda, and Rudolph; a grandson, Michael James Burgy in 2003.

Surviving are a son, Larry James Burgy of Peachtree City, GA; two daughters, Marcia L. Gallaher of Nashville, TN, and Kathleen Helms of Bridgeport, OH; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends will be received 2 ? 5 pm Sunday and Monday 12 noon until time of services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville. Burial will be immediately following at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
