Burgey, Anna Marie, 87 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Bellaire.

She was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on September 7, 1923 a daughter of the late Eugene S. Burton and Anna W. Troll Burton.

Anna Marie was a retired employee of the former L. S. Good Company at Wheeling. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church at St. Clairsville and an honorary member of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority at Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Burgey; a sister, Carolyn Burton and a brother, Jobe Burton.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Newberry of Yuma, AZ, Carol Troll of St. Clairsville and Barbara Streitenberger of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Karolyn Porter, Adam Yudasz, Brian Troll and Christopher Troll; 2 great grandchildren, David Porter and Kylie Jo Porter.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the St. Clairsville Alumni Association.
