Blon, Anna L., 74, of Stewartsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2006 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born October 29, 1933 in Bellaire, daughter of the late Gus and Elizabeth Forsythe Beatty.

Anna was an employee of Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire; she was a member of the First Christian Church in Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William L. "Bill" Blon; a granddaughter, Cassandria Blon; and a sister, Alma.

She is survived by six children, Sharon Sue Gatten of Hagerstown, Maryland, William L. Blon Jr. of Bellaire, David Eugene Blon of Bethesda, Delcie Ann Blon of Weirton, John Michael Blon of Bellaire, and Dorthea L. Blon of Bethesda; two sisters, Catherine Minnick and Jean Brown; a brother, John Beatty; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Private services held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
