Ann L. Johnson Van Dyne, 82, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born September 22, 1936 in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Carl M. and Margaret Young Stewart.

Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the St. Clairsville Ruritan Club and American Legion Auxiliary Post 159.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn L. Johnson in 2004; second husband, E. Harold Van Dyne in 2018; mother-in-law, Mary Ethel Johnson; a brother and sisters.

Surviving are her three children, Debbie (Dave) Hillman of Martins Ferry; Jeff (Michelle) Johnson and Kim (Mike) Logston both of St. Clairsville; nine grandchildren Jimmy, Amy, Joey, Josh, Rosie, Jake, Brandon, Shaylah and Erika; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Taylor of Bellaire and Ruby Steelmon of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Melody Johnson of St. Clairsville and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Terry Lucarelli officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
