Ann L. Luginskie, age 75, Formerly of Maynard, died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Crestview Health Care Center, St. Clairsville. She was born August 1, 1928 at Maynard, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter and Sophie Vicker Oboy.
She was a retired employee of General Electric at Cleveland, Ohio and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Maynard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Luginskie; a son, Michael J. Luginskie; and a sister, Mary Yudasz.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Woodland and her husband Bruce of Bethesda; a daughter-in-law, Grace Haapapuro Luginskie of Colerain, Ohio; four sisters, Stella Zavacky of Midway, Olga Lukacsko of Fairpoint, Irene Balog of Canton, OH and Geneva Piwkowski of Cleveland, OH; four brothers, Eddie Oboy of Bellaire, Tony Oboy, John Oboy and Joe Oboy all of Maynard; four grandchildren, Michael Luginskie, Jr., Kristen Woodland, Miranda Haapapuro and Jennifer Woodland Gahagan; and a great grandson, Tyler Gahagan.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard with Fr. Thomas Graven the celebrant. Burial follows at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church or the Maynard Community Vol. Fire Dept.
Vigil services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
