Lavitchka, Ann, 94, of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at her home. She was born in Fairpoint on November 22, 1913 the daughter of Jacob and Mary Markovich Wojnicki.

Ann was a retired owner and operator of the Willow Restaurant and Motel and a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Lavitchka; and a son, Joseph P. "Bud" Lavitchka; a bother, John; and sisters, Victoria, Mary, Stella and Helen.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Lavitchka; a grandson, Joey (Melissa) Lavitchka and a great granddaughter, Isabella Lavitchka.

Friends may be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. and again at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville on Saturday from 10 a.m. to time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
