Obituary

Anita Lynn Denham Pulay, 54 of St. Clairsville passed away Saturday, July 16, 2005 at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 18, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of Clifford and Mary Denham.

Mrs. Pulay was the Extension Agent Family and Consumer Sciences with The Ohio State University in Belmont County. She received her Bachelors Degree from W.L.S.C. and Masters Degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. She was active on many County Boards, County Extension Homemakers, and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Wheeling are her loving husband, Thomas Pulay whom she married on October 22, 1971; a son, Kirk Andrew Pulay of Belleville, Michigan; daughter, Alana Suzanne Pulay of Charleston, West Virginia; daughter-in-law, Lauren Yoho Pulay of Belleville, Michigan; sister, Susan Wright and her husband Stephen of Lakeland, Florida; two brothers, Bruce Denham and his wife Tina of Wheeling, and Daniel Denham of Florida; mother-in-law, Irene Pulay of St. Clairsville. She is also survived by many close friends and co-workers.

Friends will be received at The Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm. Friends then received on Wednesday from 10 am. until the service celebrating her life is held at 11 am. in the First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
