Anita D. Perry, 82, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died July 31, 2017.
She was born September 12, 1934 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John T. and Mildred Fritz Callahan.
Anita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and spending time at Lake Erie. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a retired employee of South Central Power. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of the St. Francis Society.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Hopkins; brother-in-law, Mark Hopkins; a nephew, John Hopkins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and June Donavan.
Anita is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James E. Perry; three children, Colleen (Greg) Gazda of St. Clairsville, Michael Perry of Shreveport, Louisiana and Julann (Stephen) Fasy of Newark, Delaware; four grandchildren, Megan Wagner, Greta Gazda-Roe, Blaine Fasy and Maren Fasy; two great granddaughters, Charlee and Jorja Roe; a niece and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 3:45 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville at 10:30 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
