Anita Louise Warfield Akers, 76, of Morristown, Ohio died March 16, 2018 in Acuity Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, WV.

She was born January 15, 1942 in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Ward and Lela Davis Warfield.

Anita formerly worked in the bakery at Walmart in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the Morristown Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed travel and family vacations.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Todd; two sisters, Vera Landefield and Tamara Mowrey; and a brother, Harry "Sonny" Bradstock.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Lowell D. Akers; five children, Tony (Tammy) Akers, Terry Akers, Kim (Mark) Kurucz, Tom Akers and Larry Akers; six grandchildren, Travis(Crystal), Kevin (Angel), Dusty, Scott, Brittney (Duhe) and Terry Lee (Rebecca); six great grandchildren, Clay, Braylon, Trey, Zayne, Drue and Chaz.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. with Minister Tim Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Morristown.
