Angela K. Sbrockey, age 82, died July 3, 2006. She was a resident of Beacon House at Forest Hills in St. Clairsville.

She was born in Bellaire on July 21, 1923, the daughter of Alphonso and Mary Gatto Gallucci. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University with a bachelor?s degree in accounting. She earned teacher certification and a master?s degree in guidance and counseling from Ohio University.

She was a teacher/coach at Union Local High School before transferring to the Ohio County school system where she taught at Warwood and Triadelphia before moving to the newly opened Wheeling Park High School as a guidance counselor. She retired from that post in 1985.

She was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, Bellaire.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bob Gallucci and Bill Gallucci; and her husband, Nick T. Sbrockey.

She is survived by daughters, Mary Ann (David) Creamer of Bellaire, Karen Sbrockey of Denver, Colorado, Patty (Harry) Lovrak of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and son, Nick (Cheryl) Sbrockey of Gaithersburg, Maryland; three grandchildren, Cory (Sarah) Lovrak, Gia (Justin) Reed, Deanna Lovrak; a brother, Alphonse Gallucci of California, an aunt, Helen Gatto, of Bellaire; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Don Cordery officiating.
