Sikora, Andrew T. "Andy", 86 of Maynard, Ohio died Monday, October 5, 2009 at Beckett House in New Concord.

He was born at Maynard on October 22, 1922 a son of the late Karol and Mary Saflarska Sikora.

Andy was a retired employee of Consol Energy?s Franklin #25 Mine. He attended the Maynard United Methodist Church and was a member of the PNA Lodge at Maynard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Kolb Sikora; sisters Mary Malenoski, Ann Sikora, Antonia Godaway and Sophia Wodarcyk; brothers John, Charles, Joseph, Stanley, Frank and Walter Sikora.

He is survived by his children Tom Sikora of St. Clairsville; Jerry Sikora of Tallmadge, OHRich Sikora of Frankfort, IL; Diane Shaub of Columbus, OH and Debbie Caprino of Virginia; a sister, Rose Kowalczyk of Maynard; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, OH on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Scott Black officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
