Alta Elizabeth "Liz" Skolnik, 92 of St. Clairsville formerly of Armstrongs Mills died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Cumberland Pointe in St. Clairsville.
She was born January 21, 1925 in Armstrongs Mills, a daughter of the late Doss Trigg and Emma Hendershot Trigg.
Liz was a former employee of Ohio Fireworks, a member of Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church, Weyer Chapter No.515 Order of the Eastern Star in Centerville, and the United Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Skolnik; a brother, Skip Trigg; sisters, Vera McKeen and Ethel Greenwood.
Surviving are a son, Tony (Sandy) Skolnik of Armstrongs Mills; two grandsons, Michael and Matthew; a great grandson, Aiden; sister-in-law, Eileen Trigg; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial follows in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills.
Eastern Star services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
