Obituary

Allison Renee Dunfee, 30, passed away Monday, August 6th, 2018 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Allison was born November 27, 1987 at the Ohio State University Medical Center and is the daughter of Dean and Loretta Dunfee of Belmont, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Harold and Mary B Dunfee of Belmont, Ohio.

She is survived by her parents Dean & Loretta Dunfee and her siblings Crystal (Dominic) Pietranton, Melissa (Keith) Luyster, Eric Dunfee (Alyssa Strope), and Tyler Dunfee. Grandparents Chester and Irma Kemp. Nephews Colten and Rylan Luyster and niece Ella Pietranton. Aunts Sarah (Bob) Bassler, Margie Filichia, Mary Ellen (Jack) Hannahs, Sandra (Tom) Snyder, Susan (Keith) Ogilbee, and Virginia Dixon. Uncles Forrest (Deanna) Kemp and Raymond Kemp. She has many loving cousins and special friends. Of note, TJ Kelley was like another brother to her and Jessica Hines took exceptional care of her over the past few years.

Allison is a 2008 graduate of Union Local High School. She was also an active member of Belmont County 4-H and Union Local FFA.  She received her State FFA Degree in 2008. She was passionate about animals, farming, showing dairy cattle, singing, listening to music, and attending all types of sporting events at Union Local High School. She was a proud Union Local Jet and loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Steelers and Pirates.

Allison was the "chief" of our family and kept everyone organized and in-line. She never missed an opportunity to call you on your birthday, tell you what was going on and where you needed to be on any given day. Furthermore, she never missed an opportunity to go out to eat, take a ride in a car or UTV, attend games, go to fairs or cattle shows, go to square dances, and spend time with her family. She was warmhearted, outgoing, funny, compassionate, loving, witty, intelligent, hard-working, passionate about her family, and most of all courageous throughout her life. She taught many people the true value of life and that each day was a blessing no matter what circumstances you were dealt. She lived her life to the fullest.

A private ceremony for the immediate family will be held at their convenience.

On Saturday, August 11, 2018, a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 am at Union Local High School Commons Area for everyone to pay tribute and celebrate Allison's life. A dinner and fellowship will follow the Celebration of Life ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any Wesbanco Bank and made payable to the Allison Dunfee Memorial Fund for improvement projects at the Belmont County Fair.

Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
