Alice A. Slevin, 80 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

She was born at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 16, 1926 a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Orkis.

Alice was a retired registered nurse from Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. She was a graduate of the Martins Ferry Hospital School of Nursing and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church at St. Clairsville.

She is survived by her husband, John C. Slevin; a daughter, Kathleen Slevin Rostorfer of Kirkersville, Ohio; brothers Joe Orkis of Pataskala, Ohio and Walter Orkis of St. Clairsville; sisters Nancy Kimmel and Marion Debo both of St. Clairsville; a granddaughter Kimberly (Rick) Baker of Richwood, Ohio; great granddaughters Samantha and Brandy.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be recited immediately following the visitation with Father Christopher Foxhoven officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville at the convenience of the family.
