Alice Paxton, 94, of Centerville, Ohio, formerly of St. Clairsville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003.
Alice was a former member of Thoburn Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Paxton, Architect, infant son, Edward, and grandson, Andrew Kenneth Paxton.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (Harry) Bumgarner of Waynesville; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Bruce (Aline) Paxton of Athens; five grandchildren, Adam Bumgarner, Aaron (Kristi) Bumgarner, Dr. John Telfair Paxton, A. Elizabeth DeGraw and Dr. Julie (Jesus) Pagan; four great grandchildren, Daniel and Eric Pagan and Christina and James DeGraw.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
