Alice Hilda Murphy, 83 of Mingo Junction, Ohio and Barton, Ohio died Friday, June 25, 2004 at her home.

She was born on June 28, 1920 at Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late William and Mary Martin McCamick.

Alice was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Virginia May Murphy; 2 infant grandchildren; an infant great grandchild and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Fannie Jone (William) Davenport of Barton and Jane Elizabeth Benitez of Mingo Junction; one son Glen John (Charlene) Murphy of Reelsville, IN; one sister, Twila McCamick of Triadelphia; two brothers, Dewey McCamick and Carl McCamick both of Bridgeport; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends will be received Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
