Obituary
Alice Marie Hynes, 84, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born October 1, 1930 in Bridgeport, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Blanche Zeakes Kovack.
Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Kovack.
Surviving are Donald W. Hynes, her loving husband of 64 years. Alice was "the only love of his life". Also survived by a son, Donald L. (Karen) Hynes of St. Clairsville; two daughters, Darla (Jim) Tennant and Debra (Kenny) Neavin both of St. Clairsville; a brother, Robert (Janice) Kovack of Shadyside; and eight grandchildren, D.J., Shayla and Dustin Hynes, Scott, Casey (Alexandra) and Emily Tennant, Jamie (Jeremy) Marshall and Lindsey Neavin; and a great grandchild expected in July.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Kenneth Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
