Alice Bernice Fulton, 87, of Morristown, OH, died May 28, 2019 in Acuity Specialty Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
She was born March 4, 1932, in Bannock, OH, daughter of the late Alfred Paul McGilton and Alice Sills McCormick McGilton.
Alice retired after 30+ years as Deputy Matron and Cook from the Belmont County Jail and was a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church in Flushing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Camby Fulton, her companion, Dale Lee Menefee, sons, Richard and Robert Fulton, a daughter, Wilma Jean Funkhouser, granddaughters, Lisa Wilson and Alicia Fulton, a great granddaughter, Camie Odessa Mills, brother, Elbert McGilton, a sister, Della Nicholes; and two sons-in-law, James D. Stewart and Benjamin David Goldberg.
Surviving are her six daughters, Rebecca (Brad) Wilson, Mary Margaret (Roger) Shunk, Carolyn Sue (Ken) Jones, Sandra Kay Goldberg, Ruth Ellen Stewart, and Connie Jo (Scott) Back; son, Charles (Nancy) Fulton; brother, Alfred Paul McGilton; sister, Judy Chini; son-in-law, Richard Funkhouser; 36 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and again on Sunday from Noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.
