Albert Edward "Ed" Phillips III, 58, of Barton, Ohio, died Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home.

He was born on November 22, 1966, a son of the late Albert Edward Phillips Jr. and Carol Sue Glover Phillips Nida.

Ed was a 1985 graduate of Union Local High School. He was a truck driver, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kassidy Elizabeth Phillips Hughes.

Ed is survived by his two sons, Dustin Edward (Jessica) Phillips and Cory James (Kaitlin) Phillips; a sister, Leanna Eileen Briggs; seven grandchildren, Ashton Michael Bethel, Cole Franklin Phillips, Xander James Phillips, Chloe, Ryan, Nickolass, and Rilley; a great granddaughter, Addison, a niece, Michelle (Brett) Brunner; three great nieces, and a great nephew.

Honoring Ed's wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
